Life Long Learning and Workforce Development office is offering a special Saturday 4 week micro course on Saturday mornings Saturdays, March 2, 9, 16 and 23, 2013.
This micro course option will cover software techniques and operation of Autodesk Revit 2012-2013 for design professionals. Information to be included on the course:
Revit Architecture Training
Course Time: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Room 208 Top floor Main Campus Building
This 20 hour course covers Beginner, Intermediate and some Advanced material for Revit Architecture 2012. The focus is to provide training for Students, Architects and Interior Design professionals looking to understand Revit Architecture and/or incorporate it into their existing process of designing or creating construction documents for a project. Whether you are a draftsman, project lead or student, this training will help those looking to build their resume or stay competitive in the workplace.
Prerequisites: Any previous experience with AutoCAD or Vector Works is helpful but not required

After completing the course, students should be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to use Revit Architecture for general and professional purposes;
- Demonstrate the ability to create and manipulate families and other Revit content;
- Develop an appropriate set a construction documents;
- Apply the program to large projects with multiple users and in multiple disciplines.

The instructor has 5+ years of experience working professionally for Wendel Companies and academically at Villa Maria College with Autodesk Revit and other drafting/rendering software’s for varies projects, large and small. This course will allow students to share in the knowledge gained through this professional experience and apply it to their own design process and drawing production.
