There are two exciting opportunities available to any Vikings who are looking to become involved with the men’s basketball team.
2023-2024 Season Try-Outs
Try-outs for the men’s basketball team are taking place on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM in the Athletic Center. While the coaching staff prefers players with some experience, try-outs are open to all current students with any level of experience or skill. On the day of try-outs, students should come prepared to work. Pre-registration is not required.
This year’s team will be led by Head Coach Desmond Randall, Assistant Coach Devon Camel, and Director of Player Development/Assistant Coach Rudy Bragg, ‘23. Last year, the Vikings finished with a winning record of 19-12. They were named the #7 seed in the 2023 USCAA Tournament. For more information, contact Coach Camel at [email protected].

The Men’s Basketball Team is Looking for Student Managers
If you want to play an important role on the men’s basketball team without ever stepping foot on the court, you may want to consider becoming the team’s manager. Student managers will have the opportunity to experience all aspects of a collegiate basketball program, build relationships with collage athletes, and learn from one of the best coaching staff in the USCAA.
Job duties include:
- Rebounding and assisting with drills
- Assisting the coaching staff
- Assisting with game day preparation
