Ariel Aberg-Riger is a self-taught artist who studied philosophy, and works as the Creative Director of a NYC-based design/strategy firm. Her work is intentionally simple and immediate — each line as expressive as possible, whether in a drawing, a piece of wood, or a single letter. She loves the fine line between humor and sadness, and thinks the smallest stories are often the most important. This show, The Story of Twelve Neighbors: Portraits, Sculpture, and Poetry, is her first solo show in Buffalo, NY.
The Story of Twelve Neighbors: Portraits, Sculpture, and Poetry will be on display in Villa Maria College’s Paul William Beltz Family Art Gallery from Friday, September 16, 2016 until Friday, October 14, 2016. An opening reception will be held in Ariel’s honor on September 16, 216 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Villa Maria College is located at 240 Pine Ridge Road, Buffalo, NY 14225. The Paul William Beltz Family Art Gallery is located on the ground floor of the main building. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
