Memorial Birthday Celebration for Callie Craik

As announced in early May, the sudden death of Villa Maria student Callie Craik, devastated the College Community. As a member of the Drama Club, Achieve Program, Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, and the Business Administration Program, Callie spent her time befriending new people, bringing smiles to the faces of those she already knew, and sharing her enthusiasm for her academics and hobbies. 

It was through these encounters with Callie that I acquired a different view of the world—a view of pure happiness and willingness for each and every day, regardless of any negative connotations that the previous day held. And all the while, I was fortunate enough to acquire a beautiful friendship worth remembering. 

In consideration to Callie’s upcoming birthday (Oct. 24th) and her love for all things social, Peyton Schwab and I cordially invite you to join us in celebrating and honoring her memory. 

There will be an opportunity to share a favorite memory and to participate in Callie themed word games. Wear your tie-dye attire!
