Jillian Taylor: ‘Passages’ Gallery Exhibit

Villa Alumna Jillian Taylor, ’15 will be displaying her work in the Paul William Beltz Family Art Gallery from July 10-July 26, 2019. All are invited to an opening reception on Wednesday, July 10 from 4 PM-6 PM.

Jillian Taylor earned her Associate’s Degree from Villa Maria College in 2015 and continued her education in the Fine Arts program at Buffalo State College earning her Bachelor’s Degree in 2017. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree. Jillian had been an active and prolific artist participating in numerous art festivals in the area. Her thickly painted canvases explore the use of beautifully mixed colors along with her confident and gestural brush handling makes her work very appealing and dramatic. Whether her subject matter is the landscape painted plein air, or figures and portraits, Jillian’s love of paint as an expressive medium is always evident.
