New to Villa Maria this year is Param Kaur, the College’s Institutional Research Analyst.
Kaur has a varied skill set that includes data analysis and visualization, Python, SQL, SAS, Matlab, Maple, Minitab, Geogebra, Latex, and more.
In her new role, Kaur is responsible for the processes and systems for institutional research and data management. This includes data collection, compilation, analysis, and reporting related to student and program learning outcomes assessment, program reviews, and operational and institutional evaluation.
Kaur has accumulated years of professional experience in the education industry in her prior roles at XEED Education and Brock University.
Kaur holds a Master of Mathematics and Statistics from Brock University in St. Catherine, Canada, a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education from Queens College in New York City, and an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and Science from Queensborough Community College, New York City. Additionally, she completed an Applied Data Science Certification Program from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
