Villa's Digital Media Art Programs
Animation
Our animation program is the region’s largest. That’s reflected in our premier facilities, including our brand-new Digital Media Arts Center. The dedicated and experienced facility behind this program provides expert instruction across animation, motion graphics, post-production, storyboarding, character development, and more.
Digital Filmmaking
This program is the only of its kind in Buffalo that gives students both a practical and hands-on education. We partnered with Buffalo FilmWorks, the largest major motion picture film studio in Update New York, to expose our students to life on professional film sets. Our graduates acquire a skillset that’s versatile, transferable, and in demand.
Digital Media & Communications
For those looking to pursue multiple interests, this program is the perfect place to start. Students learn how to craft and share messages in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing digital landscape. This program prepares graduates to work in almost any industry, including business, marketing, human resources, and content creation.
Game Design
Home to Western New York’s only Game Design program, Villa Maria just completed its Digital Media Arts Center. The DMAC is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility specifically designed for gaming and animation. Plus, we have a sophisticated space dedicated to esports so you can make games and play them – all while preparing for a lucrative career.
Graphic Design
Led by an accomplished staff, Villa’s graphic design students become award-winning designers with an impressive job placement rate. Our strong relationship with the Buffalo chapter of the American Advertising Federation gives our students access to professional development and networking events along with job opportunities.
Interior Design
Villa interior design students get hands-on experience and work alongside industry professionals from day one. Students have the opportunity to work on a range of real-world projects presented to design professionals. Our NCIDQ-certified program requires students to complete an internship, which may develop into a full career upon graduation.
