Rochester’s SWBR has announced the promotion of 8 employees, and Kirsten Kelleher, a 2015 graduate of Villa Maria’s interior design program, has been named an associate and shareholder.
In addition to completing the College’s BFA program, Kelleher also earned a certificate in historic restoration & preservation. During her time at Villa Maria, she was named the distinguished student in interior design and was an active member of the College’s IN Club.
On SWBR’s website, Kelleher is described as, “Passionate about experiential design and how a space can create a positive impact on the user, making her an ideal fit for the team. She’s a creative, reliable, and flexible team player that enjoys working on all project types.” Kelleher, NCIDQ, joined SWBR in November 2018 as an interior designer. Throughout the last 3-and-a-half-years, she has been responsible for creating unique and functional spaces for a variety of the firm’s higher education and housing clients. In addition to her design work at SWBR, Kirsten owns and operates a wedding and portrait photography business. She serves the community as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and the Junior League of Buffalo. She was also an on-set volunteer for HGTV’s American Rehab: Buffalo.
