The Fall 2021 semester begins on Monday, August 30!
Here are some key points to keep in mind as another unique academic year begins:
Masks are mandatory.
Whether you’re vaccinated or not, you must wear a masks that covers your mouth and nose whenever you are inside. You may remove if you are eating in the dining hall or at a College-sponsored event, if you are working alone or if you are teaching and are at least 6-feet away from other individuals or behind a protective barrier.
Physical Distancing
Per the CDC’s recommendation, the College recommends keeping at least a 3-feet distance from others while on campus. Maintaining social distancing is the responsibility of individuals on campus. Please use discretion with your actions and show mutual respect for people who desire more space in public settings.
Vaccination
Villa Maria College is not requiring students or employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Student-athletes, however, must be fully vaccinated in order to compete. The College strongly encourages everyone to get vaccinated. Community health and campus safety are up to all of us.
Incentive to Vaccinate
All students who are already fully vaccinated or who become fully vaccinated in the near future are eligible to receive $25 in Bistro Bucks. Complete the form located at villa.edu/vaccine and upload a photo of your vaccination card or a screenshot of your excelsior pass and the College will automatically add the Bistro Bucks to your account.
Books and Supplies
Books and most supplies, including art and health sciences supplies, are now included in the cost of a student’s tuition. This means that students do not have to pay out-of-pocket for these necessities. Books and supplies have been pre-ordered for all students and can be picked up in the Student Life office that is located inside the dining hall on Monday. The bookstore has closed but some hard goods can be purchased in Felician Hall. More details are available at Villa.edu/books.

Schedules are available on D2L, which can be accessed here. If you need to make a change to your schedule, please contact your advisor.
