Founded in 2003, StoryCorps is an American non-profit organization that aims to record, preserve, and share the stories of Americans from all backgrounds and beliefs.
StoryCorps is currently in Buffalo, NY working with WBFO 88.7 and Canalside to document the stories of Buffalonians. Several Villa students were able to attend a StoryCorps’ presentation at WBFO to learn more about story telling. Following the presentation, students has the opportunity to document another person’s story using StoryCorps.
