Internships
Explore Your Opportunities
There’s no better way to prepare for a successful career than to participate in an internship.
Internships allow you to test the waters of your chosen field in a real life work setting. No matter where you choose to complete your internship, you’ll walk away from the experience with new skills, industry experience, and viable references.
At Villa, internships are a pass/fail course – even though they are typically completed off campus. Internships are credit bearing and are a required component of most academic programs. As such, the internship experience is broken down into four steps: preparation, placement, learning experience and evaluation.

The student body at Villa Maria College is amazing. We’re not caught up in silly segregations based on popularity or hobbies. Everyone gets along—the atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. We are like a giant family.
