On March 4, Associate Professor of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies Elizabeth Battaglia attended the Phi Alpha Theta New York Regional Conference at Brockport and was awarded the “Outstanding Paper Award” for her paper, “Women as Producers and Consumers of Popular Culture in the Theaters of Nineteenth Century Buffalo, NY.”
Last month, she was awarded the Norman F. Weaver Award for Excellence in Historical Research and Writing from the Buffalo State College Department of History and Social Studies Education.
