Baptist Scholarships:

The American Baptist Scholarship program

The Office of Financial Aid for Studies, National Ministries, administers the American Baptist Financial Aid Program that supports college students, graduate students, and seminarians.

Qualifications: To be considered for an undergraduate scholarship, a student must be:

  • an active member of an American Baptist church for at least one year before applying for aid (Use the Church Search function of the ABCUSA Website to verify that your church is American Baptist.);
  • preparing to enter an accredited institution in the USA or Puerto Rico as a full-time freshman in the fall of the application year; and
  •  a United States citizen.

Jewish Scholarships:

National Jewish Committee on Scouting Eagle Scout Scholarship Program

The National Jewish Committee on Scouting will award scholarships to Eagle Scouts who best meet the qualifications outlined below and on the nomination application.

Qualifications: Eligible applicants must:

  • Be a registered, active member of a Boy Scout troop, Varsity Scout team, or Venturing crew.
  • Have received the Eagle Scout Award.
  • Be an active member of a synagogue and must have received the Ner Tamid or Etz Chaim religious emblem.
  • Have demonstrated practical citizenship in his synagogue, school, Scouting unit, and community.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited high school and in his final year at the time of selection. Exception - Scouts whose Eagle Scout boards of review are held the same year of their high school graduation may apply in that calendar year. They may receive a scholarship one time only.

Jewish War Veterans of the USA

Qualifications: Scholarship is limited to members or dependent children of members, or grandchildren of members of active or deceased members. Consideration is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and SAT/ACT/GRE or Other Test Scores

Roman Catholic Scholarships:

Knight’s of Columbus Scholarship Program

The long history of the partnership between the Knights of Columbus and Catholic education dates back to 1904. Over the years the Order has remained a staunch ally of institutions of learning, of parents and of students through a well-developed and well-financed series of undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships. In addition to Supreme Council programs, some state and local councils offer independent scholarship programs.

Qualifications: If you are entering your freshman year of college, considering attending a catholic college or university within the United States and are a member, child of a member, wife of a member or a Columbian Squire, you should apply for a scholarship.

Deadline for Application: Applications are available after October 1st of each year and are to be filed by March 1st, to be considered for the coming school year.
