Fine Arts
(Associate in Science – AS)

Program Description
The Fine Arts program is the only two-year program of its kind in Erie County and is an excellent transfer program for students who wish to explore the many aspects of the visual arts. Students may transfer into programs in Animation, Art Education, Graphic Design, Photography, Illustration as well as Fine Arts. The program offers a wide range of studio courses designed to develop creative skills and dexterity with a variety of materials and methods. Students have the opportunity to explore courses in drawing, design, painting, printmaking, photography, and three-dimensional design.

Career Potential & Employment Outlook
Entry-level positions for graduates with an associate degree exist as display workers, set designers, illustrators, and photographers. Students are encouraged to transfer to bachelor programs to specialize in art education, art therapy, graphic design, illustration or photography.
