2010 Defensive Driving Classes 

 

Description:  This is the New York State Approved Point & Insurance Reducation Program.  Villa Maria College's AAA Defensive Driving course is a six (6) hour course approved by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.  Upon completion of this course, you may be eligible to reduce as many as four (4) points from your driving record if it occurred within the past 18 months.  You will also receive a 10% reduction on the collision and liability portion of your automobile and motorcycle insurance premium which is valid for three (3) years. 

Fee/Requirements: 

• The cost is $35.00 for AAA members or $41.00 for non members
• Minimum class size is 8 students.  Maximum class size is 40 students.
• Cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to  class start.  

Dates/Location:  All classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM until 3:30 PM in the Villa Maria College Library Building - Room L50

2010 Five Hour Pre-Licensing Classes

Description:  Villa Maria College and the AAA of Wetern and Central New York offer you the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles Five (5) Hour Pre-Licensing course.  This is the minimal requirement necessary to schedule and take a road test.  This five (5) hour course will provide the MV-278 certificate.

Fee/Requirements: 

• The cost is $30.00 for AAA members and $35.00 for non members.
• Minimum class size is 8 students and the Maximum is 36 students.
• Cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to class start.

Dates/Location:  All classes will be held on Saturdays from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM in the Villa Maria College Library Building - Room L30
